Walking In December

Readers, Hey everyone I hope you're doing great. On my end, I can actually write that I am set to walk in December. Right now I am winding down with my business policies class with a final presentation on Microsoft tomorrow and than on May 1st or May 2nd I'll take my final for class which is worth 220 pts otherwise I'd probably be skipping it considering I am sitting at a 92 % in class right now. Last week I took my take home finals for business statistics and finished the class out with a solid B at a 85.17 %. I can't believe this is happening, starting on July 3rd I will be starting an online Anthropology evolution and human behavior class which I just looked into and it goes till august (There are four different books for class that are all more than 236 pgs, but hopefully not painfully boring shit). Months ago had you said, "Chris you're going to graduate" even then I probably would have rolled my eyes and told you, "I'll graduate in the yea...

Success Is In Reach

Readers, Hey everyone I hope you're doing great. On my end, I can't believe it's already February and this semester at Boise State is slipping by steadily; but successfully at the same time. Like for instance the one class Business Statistics 208 which I feared was going to be hands down the worst is going great! Hell in between my first couple quizzes and my first exam I am looking at a 91 % in class. Looks like the homework is weighted the most in class and in the end if the bigger lot of us in class get the course evaluation done he will drop the lowest exam and the lowest quiz. Right now I have three more exams left including the final and of course homework assignments but I have been working on those until I get the 100 % Business Policies my second class for the semester is going great, I have a damn good professor and so far on the quizzes which he drops the lowest one and we don't have any actual exams until the final 80 % of it is based purely on the di...

Start And Start Again. Uncertainty is sometimes the greatest equalizer, face it heads on and you'll find the root of everything

Readers, Hey everyone I hope you're doing great. On my end, I am drinking my coffee and trying to kickstart my brain into gear; to no avail so far, I am not quite sure whether it was forcing myself to get up earlier everyday at that magic hour of 4 am that helped? Because usually when I woke up early in the morning I'd drink my coffee and tackle my schoolwork and feel like I'd accomplished something along the way. Yesterday, ultimately was productive but the first part of my day was useless. I set and reset my damn alarm several times and curled up back into bed with my love who still slept away content like a kitten After the blood sweat and tears, I am finally in what can be my final semester at Boise State if I just apply myself constantly and kick the shit out of my business statistics 208 class and my business policies class (which I thought was going to be a walk in the park, but it involves formulas and mathy stuff, so part of my brain is screaming you're go...

Everything Happens For A Reason

Readers, Hello there I hope you're doing well. On my end, I had a wonderful Thanksgiving with my Inlaws and ate far too much yummy turkey, and vegetables and lastly of course desert. Celebrated an early birthday with them which was nice, my birthday cake was a Pumpkin Pie which as many of you know I love Pumpkin! Yes, Ruth says, "You like Pumpkin everything too much". I beg to differ from Pumpkin bread, pumpkin cookies, to pumpkin cheerios (which were actually legit, I hope general mills rereleases them next year because they were way to good to just be a one year thing). Feels like I dragged my birthday out after that went out and celebrated an early birthday with my good friend Ross and his girlfriend whom may or may not want to be named here so I wont for the sake of the blog but they're so happy together *smiles* I am glad love has found another one of my friends, I digress we went out to Bodovinos for delicious wine, desert, and cheese. Of course I eventu...

Still alive, Two years, wedding stuff, nearing the end of this semester, a year at Rc Willey

Readers, Hey everyone I hope you're doing great. On my end, should be hitting the books but taking some time to write a new blog entry. Its funny how time gets away from you and you come to realize you once again went a whole month without issuing a new one. I know I keep talking about how I will write a new one more regularly than life gets in the way with work and school and I forget to get on here and write one up. Its funny years ago this started out as an avenue to help me heal from past hurts and has helped me to move forward (just maybe because things for the most part are going more sanely in my life I don't feel the need to write these as often). Today is the two year anniversary of being together with Ruth. I still can't believe two years ago I had basically given up on dating because I found that all everyone wanted was just a hook up and I wanted something more serious. Ironically I stayed on Meet Me, which by now god only knows has probably changed names an...

Down That Jazzy Road & Kicking the snot out of Logic

Readers, Hey everyone I hope all is going good on your end. On my end, listening to some light jazz and just got to Boise State and its time to tackle my finance homework (which with work and other things didn't get completely knocked out). I was speaking with Ruth the other day and she reminded me of how much my study process this semester has changed; I would get up consistently at 4 or 5 am and tackle my material because god only knows I worked like a mad man and usually the witching hour was the only real time to do so. This semester it is a bit more difficult to do that, I work late most nights and Ruth works even later most of the time. Starting this week, I am going to set my alarm for 4 am and get up no matter what and just start a process of buckling down on this logic material (this being after my first exam kicked my ass). Its now the first of March and I didn't write a word after the 9th, suffice to say valentines day weekend was a major success and we had a ton...

Dates set in stone, valentines day escape, paying off these bills & moving out

Readers, Hey everyone I hope you're doing good. On my end, I thought I was done feeling like shit but am apparently not quite over the hurdle. I have a massive sinus headache and am trying to focus hard on this logic material; which I did read but am trying to reread it in preparation for class in two hours. I took the first exam last week, and mixed up two main rules for Truth Trees so I am certain I at least messed up the last part of my exam. I am so close to graduating and breaking free yet it feels like with my own inability sometimes to recall things I mess myself up and prevent myself from moving on to those last classes I need to graduate Feeling like a little kid, the wedding date is set in stone and yesterday went to the store with Ruth and picked out my wedding ring; she was anxious and wanted me to like what she picked out for me. I just can't believe its actually happening, we're going to get married June 26th of 2017. At this point, we have so many things ...

Wow almost a year at Rc Willey, adulting ie. paying bills so we can move out, still so in love

Hey everyone, Its been forever since I have posted a new blog; mostly because I actually changed my password and also couldn't recall what email I had used for this goggle plus account (feel a tad special now, seeing as how it was the account linked on my phone). Oh well, I am back in business so to speak. This whole writing thing will become a regular thing again seeing as how it mostly helps me clear out my head and at the very least fill in those who read this what is going on in my life Its crazy to think the last one I actually wrote one of these, I had been at my new job for a little while and was getting over that whole new "guy" feeling at Rc Willey! Now, it'll be a year the day after Easter of having been at Rc Willey. I can truly say I love where I work primarily because of the awesome people I work with there and secondly because of the regular customers who come in. It feels like at times I should know something but forget how to do it and it never fee...

"There's just so much goddamn weight on my shoulders...wear a smile on my face but I've got a demon inside"

Readers, Hey everyone as I write this I am giving the single Jekyll and Hyde by Five Finger Death Punch and right now it feels so fitting. In my life, not to say things have taken a sudden downward spiral. Things with the love of my life are still going beyond well (Ruth is a life saver and as are many of my friends for helping me through the stresses of life). When there is a part of me that wants to dig a deep hole and hide till the world ends then come up for any semblance of air I have a great job that I love that is sometimes frustrating but that comes with working in retail and sometimes dealing with the general public; you have the bad apples but then you have some awesome people whom over the past two months and a half have become some great regulars. You have that job where you just clock on and can't wait until its over and that day where everyday is a new adventure where you feel included and that's exactly how this job is. I feel like I am apart of a family. Up ...

A Healthier Me + More stuff

Readers,  Hey everyone I hope all is going great with you. Breakfast eaten, weeds pulled this morning while listening to the latest AMC news podcast (listening to a lot of podcasts lately while working they make doing the yard work that is essential go by fast). Now relaxing drinking an mug of green tea, I can't believe I was so late to the party! I like my tea steeped a bit more but if its good green tea you don't need any honey or anything else. The one issue with Green Tea, is that you have to go to the bathroom a lot more than say when you drink a good amount of coffee *shrugs* I know there are those out there who know exactly what I am talking about  Three weeks into my new job, I am still loving it! I work with some great people who really are helpful and have continued to make me feel welcome. There was no initial awkward initiation period like there usually is with a new job or a new group setting. Plus it helps that I have become more comfortable wi...

Loving my new job

Readers,  Hey everyone I hope you've been good. On my end, its been an adventure adjusting to the whole new schedule (day off Tuesday and Sunday) and I am loving things at Rc Willy. You know that "new guy feeling" that often occurs with a new job, that didn't occur with this I instantly felt like I belonged. In between the new system and everything else, I know I don't know everything but it'll come. I still can't quite believe, tomorrow is the third week on the job and that I got it. No doubt a lot of people applied but they choose me to fill the office. Before long I will be getting benefits and be able to set aside some solid money towards a life together with the woman I love  On the 14th of May it''ll be exactly a year and a month together with Ruth. Today I felt like shit and she took care of me a little bit before she rushed off to work. When I am sick, I get upset over the little things and she is right there to say, "It'll be ...

A New Adventure, new dead sara album, last day, special edition casablanca, fast and furious 7 rocked

Readers, Hey everyone I hope all is going great with you. On my end, I am giving the new Dead Sara album a listen to while writing this, and so far its pretty damn good. As a whole i'd highly recommend Pleasure To Meet You. Yesterday, I worked a whole four hours and walked out  the door of Gordmans after giving my boss a hug and her promising to finish completing a letter of recommendation for me. Plus throughout the day people I had worked with over different periods of the whole three years that I worked there paused to say good bye and sincerely said they'd miss me. As a sort of send off to things, I went out to dinner at Chili's with my love and to celebrate a sort of sad close to things we had great food and drinks Yesterday evening I opened up the special edition of the movie Casablanca which is so fucking awesome. For all of those who follow me at all you know I am a die hard fan of the movie and Humphrey Bogart and I also call my beautiful fiance Bacall. The who...

The Countdown has begun, end of one job to another, and a lot of other stuff

Readers, Hey everyone I hope all is going great in your worlds. On my end, I am closing one door and opening another. For those of you who are not just tuning in, I have been working at Gordmans in meridian Idaho since before they opened (in 2012). Those have seriously been some of the best years of my life at a job ever, up until now I have never really felt as appreciated or like I matter as I did there. Stopping short of actually naming my boss because this is probably not an right place to do so, she has seriously been the best boss I have ever had! I know for sure they're hiring and I'd highly recommend you work there. For me its bitter sweet, I didn't realize honestly how many people's lives I impact on a daily basis from the regular customers to the people I work with (many of whom have become best friends). The biggest thing I think about changing jobs is going to be leaving those people and yes of course I will visit them all and say hello and many of those I...

Damn its been an eternity but I am back

Readers, Hey everyone I hope you've been great. On my end, listening to the newest Hollywood Undead album which is solid and determined to kick out a new blog. Over the past several months I would start a new blog then get distracted and it would just sit here. So here it goes, in a couple of hours I am going for an job interview *crosses fingers* Hoping to get this because along with my job at gordmans I could really use a second one. Until I know more after the interview I will simply say I am excited and have a good feeling about this interview today Reflecting back on the past several months life with Ruth Clark has shown no sign of slowing down or stopping, those butterflies haven't stopped either. Never have I ever felt so loved or so supported by a woman. It was an incredible valentines day together and an nice escape to Mcall (we're shooting for a cheaper honeymoon and a nice escape to Mcall). We're hoping to shoot for getting married in a year here and I am...

Looking forward to escaping with my love

Readers, Hey everyone I just noticed I haven't written a single entry in over an month. On my end, I've been busy working and also trying to find an second job; right now I am not getting a whole lot of hours due to Obama care and the requirement that if an company has a certain number of employees with a certain number of hours they have to provide them with health care. I know there are a lot of people out there who really and truly believe the company should have to pay you health care, but I am realistic its fucking expensive. Right now as it stands going into this next year I am without insurance because even on the your health Idaho market it would cost me way too much to get anything even remotely decent *shrugs* According to a friend since I may a low income, I can actually get a waver for it so I don't get penalized for not having health care so I am going to pursue that route as soon as possible School right now is sort of in a gigantic limbo; debating slightl...

Hello 2015

Readers, Ready to take on the world Told you she looks sexy as hell Hey everyone I hope you survived 2014 as painfully awful like a shattered heart, incredible like a fine piece of cheese cake covered with ice cream or lastly so painfully dull that you achieved master Popsicle stick builder at this years convention. As for me, there are very few times in my life that I can truly say I have been stuck mute, this was when I saw my fiance walk in the door; her friend helped her do her hair and she was wearing makeup and a sleek hip hugging black dress and a pair of knock em dead sexy black leather boots. My jaw probably literally hit the fucking floor. There you have me, I took time to pick out a red dress shirt and a tie and even put on my suit coat (which I hadn't worn in a good while), and topped that off with slacks and a pair of dress shoes...I paced in front of a mirror like a twitter patted boy determined to impress his date; hindsight it was idiotic the way she looke...

Where has this year gone? Here is to 2015

Readers, Hey everyone I hope you're doing great. On my end, its the evening prior to New Years Eve which for sure I am celebrating with my fiance Ruth Clark (the one I gush a lot about in practically every single entry). Plans right now are sort of in limbo not sure if I'll be able to get an bowling lane this late in the game and am not really feeling going downtown this year because no doubt it'll be bat shit crazy. What's nailed down, a for sure is that Ruth and I will be staying in a suite with one of those hot tubs in the room; first ever and I am not working the following day so I intend to relax and do the late check out. Either way I am really looking forward to what next year has to offer, there are quite a few uncertainties like the school but either way I have my love and have no doubt that either way we'll fully support one another in everything we do. There is no doubt in my mind that I am the luckiest man alive to have such a loving and incredibly sup...

I think maybe I am just mad, instead of surviving it

Readers, Hey everyone I hope you're doing great. So, I survived the madness of black Thursday! A great thanksgiving dinner with my extended family (in laws) and my fiance Ruth than it was back to my place for some more grub prior to me zipping off to work. For those who have done the two thanksgivings every single year, I give you mad props because I don't know how you do it. After eating around 1:00 pm, I was stuffed and barely had enough room for more food when we went to my folks place around 5 pmish. So, I was into work at 5:45 and the doors opened at six pm and the rush poured inside. Most of the night I was supposed to be cashiering but most of it was actually spent out on the floor putting things away and assisting people. The night slowly dragged on and on and gradually of course the door busters vanished, then the late shoppers wandered in at 2 am and were still looking to find something or take advantage of the deals...had to inform them that they ended at 1 am. T...

Never thought anyone would ever really read this

Readers, Hey everyone I hope you're doing great. Years ago when I started penning this online journal I never thought for a second anyone would ever want to read this or continue to read it either. Honestly I decided to let a friend read it and I was surprised when they came back years ago and said, "Wow this is good I can totally relate. You need to share this!". Part of me in that moment thought you're nuts I am ripping down the curtains and sharing everything about me...from thoughts of heart break, to cooping with thoughts of possible suicide (where I battled with beating myself up, don't worry that beast is in its cage and has been now for some time), to dealing with the frustrations of the big bad dating world, my own personal feelings regarding school and my possible failings at it, and happiness there was plenty of that and is plenty of that. So, I started gradually just sharing current blogs, only to have people actually go back and explore everything f...

Gaelic Storm was incredible live, Only 10 more days, celebrating with family, break before madness

Readers,  Hey everyone I hope all is going good with you. On my end, still reeling from what was truly an incredible concert! Ruth couldn't really get into Gaelic Storm prior to the show but ended up loving them. I've been to some damned good concerts over the years. Prior to this one, one that stands out is One Republic, The Script and The American Authors they all put on a damned good high energy show. As you know I have also seen the band Queensryche several years prior half a dozen times and as I said many times over they always put on one hell of a show. Gaelic Storm now resides on that list of great concerts, most of the time was spent clapping and semi dancing (because god only knows I can't really do an Irish jig). Smiling, laughing and singing along they really involved those watching them live! Incredible singing, musicianship, drums, percussion, violin. You name it they truly put on a hell of a great show and I'd highly recommend you go see them in concert ...
