Everything Happens For A Reason

Readers, Hello there I hope you're doing well. On my end, I had a wonderful Thanksgiving with my Inlaws and ate far too much yummy turkey, and vegetables and lastly of course desert. Celebrated an early birthday with them which was nice, my birthday cake was a Pumpkin Pie which as many of you know I love Pumpkin! Yes, Ruth says, "You like Pumpkin everything too much". I beg to differ from Pumpkin bread, pumpkin cookies, to pumpkin cheerios (which were actually legit, I hope general mills rereleases them next year because they were way to good to just be a one year thing). Feels like I dragged my birthday out after that went out and celebrated an early birthday with my good friend Ross and his girlfriend whom may or may not want to be named here so I wont for the sake of the blog but they're so happy together *smiles* I am glad love has found another one of my friends, I digress we went out to Bodovinos for delicious wine, desert, and cheese. Of course I eventu...

Loving my new job

Readers,  Hey everyone I hope you've been good. On my end, its been an adventure adjusting to the whole new schedule (day off Tuesday and Sunday) and I am loving things at Rc Willy. You know that "new guy feeling" that often occurs with a new job, that didn't occur with this I instantly felt like I belonged. In between the new system and everything else, I know I don't know everything but it'll come. I still can't quite believe, tomorrow is the third week on the job and that I got it. No doubt a lot of people applied but they choose me to fill the office. Before long I will be getting benefits and be able to set aside some solid money towards a life together with the woman I love  On the 14th of May it''ll be exactly a year and a month together with Ruth. Today I felt like shit and she took care of me a little bit before she rushed off to work. When I am sick, I get upset over the little things and she is right there to say, "It'll be ...

The Countdown has begun, end of one job to another, and a lot of other stuff

Readers, Hey everyone I hope all is going great in your worlds. On my end, I am closing one door and opening another. For those of you who are not just tuning in, I have been working at Gordmans in meridian Idaho since before they opened (in 2012). Those have seriously been some of the best years of my life at a job ever, up until now I have never really felt as appreciated or like I matter as I did there. Stopping short of actually naming my boss because this is probably not an right place to do so, she has seriously been the best boss I have ever had! I know for sure they're hiring and I'd highly recommend you work there. For me its bitter sweet, I didn't realize honestly how many people's lives I impact on a daily basis from the regular customers to the people I work with (many of whom have become best friends). The biggest thing I think about changing jobs is going to be leaving those people and yes of course I will visit them all and say hello and many of those I...

Writing and getting paid for it, talking about theory of a deadman, evils of math

Readers, Hey everyone I hope you're doing good. I should be tackling a first blog for D & B supply, but mentally I think I've hit a roadblock. I was told it could be casual and i'd have my own voice but right now I am having a hard time finding it, that voice that says, "Chris you're kidding yourself", is yelling louder. As I write this I wonder if writers who actually have it made sometimes still battle with that creature? Does Dean Koontz ever get caught up on not knowing what to write? I'd like to say no because well its Dean Koontz and in my mind he's the best writer ever. After writing for a long time like he has i'd like to think writing block and uncertainty doesn't exist Yesterday, I met at Rembrandt's with a representative for D & B supply, she found me via twitter and searching me apparently by typing in the words "chicken" and "garden", after that she took a walk through everything facebook, my pho...

Good Things Pile Up

Readers: Hey everyone I hope all's going great in you're world's. In mine life is going great! I know I have written from time to time about things with Jolene and how they are going and it feels like I cannot help but fall deeper in love with her each weekend I get to spend in her arms. This whole weekend including today was miraculous (all except her having too leave) though there is no doubt in my mind I love her with every inch of my heart. Alas i'll try not to make this all bubbly about her but this just needed said and I know it isn't huge but we surpassed that four month mark. For those of you who have read this off and on over the past tumultuous time period understand the true significance of that mark we surpassed that date that ended in flames with Trisha. Its amazing too me how being with Jolene really makes me realize how much I put up with in the past that I shouldn't have for so long. God she is so outgoing, so intelligent, so supportive, so t...

Yes why hello there we haven't spoken in forever

Readers: Hey everyone I hope all's going great on you're end of the world. On my end yes I realize I literally just wrote one yesterday but figured why not write another one. So I have been battling with an ache in my jaw whenever i'd chew sometimes it was just bad all around; in fact it was so horrid that last night after going to the dentist and learning that somehow I cracked a tooth that I couldn't eat my food my mouth hurt so damn much. Alas getting the crown taken care of at the place I went to would run over eight hundred bucks so I am down to the hunting around for another dentist office that won't charge as much for a crown because exciting enough beyond that I also have several cavities that also need taken care of as well *twitches* If ever there was a time where I need something now that time would be now and in this case a solid job where I can get a steady flow of money going and pay for all this dental stuff I am going to need done, set aside a fu...
